Experience the warmth of Home in the middle of remotest high altitude himalayan forest home for the wild Red Pandas. Habre’s Nest is in the middle of habitat surrounded by Red Panda mountains from all sides. Many times we Red Pandas from the Habre’s Nest rooms, balcony or sometimes even in our natural habitat graden. Habre’s Nest is an Eco stay, part of nature. Here we have higher Bird & Wildlife activity in and outside our property. We have recorded over 90 species of elusive himalayan birds including Satyr Tragopan, Fire-tailed Myzornis, Ward’s Trogon, Brown Parrotbills, Fire-tailed Sunbird, Gould’s Shortwing, Yellow-billed Blue Magpie and many varieties of Laughingthroushes. Mammal activities around the house is also very good including Black Leopard, Clouded Leopard, Golden Cat, Marbled Cat, Leopard Cat, Himalayan Blackbear, Yellow-throated Martin, Himalayan Weasel, Himalayan Short-tailed Mole, Himalayan Goral, Himalayan Serow and many different Flying squirrels.
Tourism Areas & Restrictions
Indian & Nepali Citizens have free access to this international open border. These guests can explore both sides of the forest. For Foreign guests however the movement is restricted to one country only. We conduct Habre’s Nest Red Panda expedition in the Nepal side forest; here we have Red Panda Tourism community tickets &Local Guides. Singalila National Park officially banned Red Panda tourism on the India side due to disturbance by unethical operators.
