Our Bird Hide is very active around the year and attracts a lot of rare Himalayan Birds. We have recorded over 55 species including Satyr Tragopan, Fire-tailed Myzornis, Fire-tailed Sunbird, Gould’s Shortwing, Chestnut-headed Tesia, Hill Partridge, Pink-browed Rosefinch, 4 species of Parrotbills, 5 species of Laughing throushes and many more. Himalayan Weasel, Yellow-throated Martin & Leopard Cat also seek their chances every day. Sometimes you may also discover a wild Red Panda inside the boundary. . Participants should be fit enough to walk for 50 meters to be able to explore our Bird hide.
You get the best viewing and photography opportunities of many of Singalila’s rareritis in our in house Bird Hide. Habre’s Nest is home to over 100 exotic & elusive Birds including- Satyr Tragopan, Blood Pheasant to Fire-tailed Myzornis, Spotted Laughingthroush. Black-throated Parrotbill, Fire-tailed Sunbird and many more according to the e-Bird.
